After a call to Telia support, a “quick” restore in iTunes, and a hefty fine, I now have a unlocked iPhone.

The only thing missing was setting up voice mail and call forwarding, which is easily done with the following two commands:

*5005*86*phonenumber#

004phonenumber#

Just launch the phone app and use the keypad to enter them. Replace “phonenumber” with the number to your voice mailbox. Don’t forget to add the international dialing prefix to your voice mailbox number, which in my case is “+45”.
