Since Amazon isn’t giving up its ludicrous software patent I have decided to boycott them! As of today I have removed all links to Amazon! The reason for the boycott is because Amazon has filed filed suit against Barnes & Noble over this ludicrous patent. These kind of patents threatens to put a halt on technological innovation and ruin the Internet for all of us.

The technology that Amazon has patented, is their ‘one-click ordering’ system1 which is a simple system based on cookies! To patent this would be like patenting ‘the process of taking a credit card order over the phone.
